Alta Colina is one of Paso Robles’ many family owned and operated vineyards. Located in the Adelaida District, they specialize in Rhone style wines.

Known for their Syrahs, they also make some other really incredible blends and single varietals (that’s about as far as our wine verbiage goes). Micha’s favorite Rhone wine is Grenache, so when she saw Alta Colina offered a 100% Grenache Petillant Naturel (aka Pet Nat) during the Spring of 2022, she just had to get her hands on a bottle (or 4).

This organic operated vineyard, though not certified, is one of our favorite places to visit every time we are in the area. The staff is always so welcoming, and makes you feel like family. It’s no wonder we signed up to be members after only one visit! With limited case counts each season, we highly recommend you check out this wonderful vineyard.
